Is our theology big enough?

So one thing that I loved discussing was the fact that our theology needs to be big enough to deal with things that happen in life. Our theology certainly can't be defined by these events but if those events contradict your theology you understand the event wrong or you understand scriptures wrong.

More specifically than that, is our theology big enough to allow for spiritual things that happen. Example, spiritual warfare. More personally, is my theology big enough to allow the Holy Spirit to do works in the lives of people around me.
